HELPING INDEPENDENT RESTAURANTS COMPETE AND WIN
Better food means better business, and that's what independent restaurants have to offer their customers.
A lot of people think that, because we only represent independent restaurants that we must have some grudge against big corporations. Actually, it's quite the contrary. We want to help our clients with Local Saute become just as big and successful as the corporate restaurants. After all, they had to start somewhere, too, so why can't your restaurant be the next Chili's, Applebee's, Starbucks or McDonald's? We want to help your restaurant become as successful as you want it to be. If you want to stay local, we can help you continue to succeed in your hometown til the end of time. If you want to go national and sell franchises, we're here to help you build your restaurant's brand and reputation so you can achieve your dreams.
What Makes Independent Restaurants So Great?
While independent restaurants have some disadvantages when compared to corporate restaurants, they have some very significant advantages over them that the chains just can't compete with.
- Independent restaurants have the freedom to buy from local vendors which gives them access to better and fresher produce, meats, seafood and other ingredients.
- Independent restaurants have the freedom to do their own thing, such as change up the menu according to local growing seasons, or even just fit a unique, local theme.
- Independent Restaurants have the ability to fit in perfectly with their local community since they are often owned and operated by people who have spent most of their lives living in the area.
- Independent restaurants are able to keep their money circulating in the local economy which translates into a stronger local economy.
Who's Behind This Local Saute Movement?
Justin Moreau, Executive Producer/Founder
Justin Moreau became a "Foodie" in college while studying for his BA in Radio, Television and Film Production at San Jose State University. That was when he realized it was sink or swim when it came to cooking. As a starving student, it was either learn to cook or go hungry, so he learned to cook and fell in love with cooking in his spare time. After college, he started his professional career working in production at ESPN in Bristol, CT, where he produced highlights for SportsCenter, Baseball Tonight and all of ESPN's other programming. This is where he learned from the world's best in regard to television production.
After leaving ESPN, Justin found himself in the dot-com craze where he was seen as "the creative type," so they threw him into marketing. In such a competitive field, again it was sink or swim. He then fell in love with marketing and advertising and has never looked back. After the dot-com crash, he began specializing in marketing strategies for small businesses, which coincidentally led him into helping many independent restaurants market themselves in their local regions.
Fast forward to present day, and he has carved a niche in the advertising industry by combining his love for great food and Marketing. Local Saute is quite possibly the only agency of its kind that specializes in marketing for independent restaurants, and is especially the only one that can boast broadcast-quality TV commercial campaigns at affordable prices for independent restaurants anywhere.
